The Mission of Design Angels of America is to impact in a meaningful way, through design, the lives of the most vulnerable youth.

To create environments that sustain and support their well-being.

We believe the wellness impact of a space can affect physical health or experience. Design has an impact on social interaction, emotional experience, and well-being.

Design can support positive emotional states that have been linked to better health, longer life, and greater over-all well-being.

We believe spaces should incorporate socially responsible design, which emphasizes the needs and experiences of people. These spaces should be empathetic and human centered.

We believe we have a responsibility to address the needs of communities, and be agents of social change through our design.

Design can create equitable spaces that convey a sense of “Welcome to All”, while improving access to essential services and places of work, socialization, recreation and culture, especially in underserved neighborhoods.

Extraordinary design can harness latent local qualities, turning serviceable projects into magnetic and catalytic one for all.
